Silver Jewellery Workshops

Saturday 30th May, Hen Weekend Workshop.

On Saturday 30th May I held a workshop for 13 ladies on a hen weekend. I hired a local hall and put on a buffet lunch.

Here are some pictures of the jewellery they made.

The brides piece.

Quote from email recieved following the workshop ,,,thank you so much for making Saturday so enjoyable.Everyone really enjoyed the who;e day and I would go as far as to say we were all astounded that the whole group managed to make a piece of jewellery that we were proud of and would happily have bought from a shop! Quite a feat when a fair proportion of the group felt that they were relatively un-creative!! Toria said she had the perfect hen weekend and was glad to have been able to do activities that everyone could get so involved in.

Beginners workshop days. For those with little or no experience, I will guide you in designing and making a finished piece of jewellery to take home(often more than one).
The use of tools, forming the silver, the processes followed to the end product.A fun and productive day.

Christine Warren Silver workshop.

I have a large collection of jewellery making books to browse for inspiration and ideas on designing your piece.

Fully equipped workshop with tools available for each student.Silver bullion available to buy for projects.

Limited to 3 people maximum per class, this gives plenty of opportunity to get the most out of the day.

The day runs from 10am-4.30

For those people who have 'had a go' elsewhere I do things slightly differently to most classes I have adapted traditional techniques to suit my working practice and produce work faster and more easily.(Of course still using Sterling Silver sheet and wire, please note this is NOT a PMC course.)

Several of the students that came in 2008 said to quote 'If only we'd been shown like this before'.One lady had set up a workshop but stopped making as she melted everything, one day and she was soldering with confidence.

All the methods I teach are used in the making of my jewellery which sells in galleries all over the country.

Pieces made by students on their first day.
